Created in 1976, the Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) primarily serves students who are the first in their family to go to college or who are considered socioeconomically disadvantaged.
EAOP connects UC Davis with K-12 schools and the community. In the 2015-2016 academic year UC Davis EAOP worked with over 3,400 students in 32 schools. The program provides information about college entrance requirements, how to apply, what happens when you arrive and how to pay for a college education.
As the University of California’s (UC) premier outreach program, EAOP is represented on each of the 10 UC campuses.
