The UC Davis Early Academic Outreach Program celebrates its 40th anniversary.

The events listed below are a combination of EAOP and EAOP partner events.  If you have questions about the EAOP partner events please contact them directly as they will be better able to assist you.

Pioneer High School Academic and Leadership Academy (ALA)

The Pioneer High School in partnership with the UC Davis Early Academic Outreach Program is proud to offer the PHS Academic and Leadership Academy. This academy is for incoming freshman who will be attending Pioneer High School during the 2017-2018 academic year.  The academy prepares students to apply for college while providing them the opportunity to share in the University of California's tradition of excellence and diversity. Every student in the ALA takes a challenging English course that prepares him/her for the 2017-2018 academic year. The academy also provides pre-college advising, youth and strengths leadership development, and an opportunity to visit a college campus.This challenging academic experience prepares students for success in high school and sets the foundation for success in college. All students who complete and pass the academy will earn 5 high school elective credits.

Woodland High School Spring Board Academy (SBA)

This summer Woodland High School is proud to offer, for the first time, the Woodland High School (WHS) Spring Board Academy (SBA).  The University of California, Davis Early Academic Opportunity Program which is part of the Department of Undergraduate Admissions and Woodland High School will sponsor this exciting academy filled with engaging curriculum exposing students to the various options available beyond high school.  We will offer this intensive Spring Board academy to select incoming 9th grade students who will be attending Woodland High School during the 2017-2018 academic year.  The goals of this summer academy are to:

    • Prepare students for high school English;
    • Ease the transition from middle to high school;
    • Enhance the college going culture at Woodland High School by exposing students’ to college requirements and options;
    • Develop students’ leadership skills
