One of EAOP's most valuable assets are the undergraduates who support the mission and success of EAOP. Undergraduates provide a variety of support services to the program by working closely with the Regional Assistant Directors (RADs) and other EAOP staff. The Student Outreach Assistants (SOA's) provide services and support to participants, families and schools in each region. The services and support can range from facilitating group workshops for students and parents, one-on-one academic advising, coordinating a field trip, or helping to plan an awards ceremony.
The Data Outreach Assistants support quality data collection procedures and entry of programmatic efforts. The Director's outreach assistants, known as the Special Projects Team, coordinate with a variety of staff and departments to assist with planning innovative efforts. Additional information about the responsibilities of the program's outreach assistant can be found at "Student Jobs" page.
